Unlike some other CDM Coordinators who charge a fee based on the final cost of the
works CvW Associates work on a fixed fee basis agreed with the client before work
Our fees are based on the estimated time that needs to be allocated to the job and
and can start as low as £750 for a straightforward job.
Extent of clients requirements, number of site visits etc. are agreed with the client
before a fee is fixed, should additional work be needed it is agreed with the client
beforehand and will be charged for at our standard hourly or daily rate. Fixed fees
will always include the following:-
Obtaining all necessary information from the parties involved.
Preparation of pre-contract H&S information pack.
Preparation of F10 (notification of project)
Checking contractors H&S plan
Preparation of the H&S file from information presented when the works are complete.
Items which the client sometimes carries out on his own behalf which can be included
in the fee if required include:-
Coordinate health and safety aspects for the work of Designers, Planners and others
associated with the project, often carried out by the project manager.
Advise the Client on the adequacy of management arrangements for the project
Site visits to monitor the contractors adherence to the CDM regulations and the Construction
Stage health & safety plan can also be included for a separate fee.
Contractors and developers
Fees for producing the documents necessary to comply with the CDM Regulations i.e.
construction stage plans, risk assessments etc., for contractors and developers are
based upon the size and type of contract.
